The Merrimack Valley Hope Mission and the Pentucket Music Department are hosting an evening of breathtaking musical expression.
Talented student and alumni musicians will perform wonderful selections as a prelude to a program of original music by Rebecca Harrold. Rebecca is the primary pianist for the Boston Ballet North Shore Studio. She is also an accomplished composer and performer. Her beautiful, original music was featured in the Merrimack Valley Hope anniversary "Appreciation Video."

Founder of the Merrimack Valley Hope Mission
Rebecca Harrold ~ hales from Mentor, Ohio and is a freelance pianist who plays for the Boston Ballet Center for Dance education. Presently she holds the position as Lead Pianist for Boston Ballet’s Marblehead Studio. She has played in the pit orchestra for The Company Theater, accompanied the Voice Studio of Robert Honeysucker, and has played for Burklyn Ballet of Vermont. She has had the privilege of working with Stephen Schwartz as principle pianist for the IRNE award-winning production of “The Baker’s Wife” by way of her affiliation with Company Theater.
Rebecca is also a vocal soloist for Faith in Action, a women’s jazz/gospel a cappella group who has sung for “Dance on the Top Floor”, a locally produced extravaganza featuring area choreographers and members of Boston Ballet. Faith in Action has also made an appearance on WGBH “Basic Black” which featured a music education workshop under the direction of Bobby McFarren.
Her singing and theatrical experience has allowed her to collaborate with another local group, Sisters in Song. For the past five years this group has raised significant funds to help survivors of breast cancer.
A true collaborative musician, her abilities and willingness to play and sing all styles have taken her to Europe, Italy, Greece, the UK and Ireland.
As a lead singer, she has sung with Eye to Eye, a Boston based general business band and 3 time Boston Music Award winner,
Her keyboard and background singing with local legend, Lois Lane and the Daily Planets and Y.O.M.A.M.A an original rock band led to being the opening act for Average White Band and The Guess Who.
She has been Music Director for Turtle Lane Playhouse Children’s Theater (Newton, MA), Atrium School Children’s Theater (Watertown, MA), Walpole High School Drama Department (Walpole, MA), and Heritage Theater Works (Jamaica Plain, MA).
Her premiere CD “The River of Life” is being slated for release in Australia and Asia along with an independently produced video for the title track which will feature Boston Ballet talents, Melissa Reed and Kevin Jenkins.
